Answers to some of our Frequently Asked Questions

Blind fabrics are best seen in your home rather than in a showroom or the internet.

Visits are arranged at a time suitable to you - day or evening. During the visit we will measure the windows while you look through the sample books. A separate appointment is then arranged to fit your blinds.

All blinds are fitted by ourselves - we do not use sub-contractors.

Are the blinds safe for Children?

There is strict legislation regarding safety issues particularly relating to cords.

We provide ‘breaks’ and wall fixtures for the operating cords.

Are there options with no cords?

You can avoid cords altogether on some blinds.

Pleated blinds have the optional spring operation.

Vertical blinds now available with a wand controls.

A rechargeable battery operation is increasingly popular.

Do your blinds come with a guarantee?

All blinds come with a 12 month guarantee as standard.

Can we avoid drilling into my window frame?

Blinds are usually fixed with screws to the window frame. We can fix to the to the wall or window recess if preferred.

Systems are available for PVC frames which avoid screws and drilling holes. This is particularly useful in conservatories.

What maintenance do your blinds need?

Blinds require little or no maintenance. An occasional light dusting is generally sufficient.

Some fabrics may be wiped down with a damp cloth.

Roman blinds can be removed for dry cleaning.
